Question tuning AEM wideband

i have a s4 T2 and i have a safc2 and a AEM wide band gauge...when the car was sitting at idle i was trying to lean out the mixture and it seems as if it goes richer on the gauge when i lean it out on the safc...could something be reversed or something??

Yes. Go back to the settings for the SAFC and see if they still show 4CYL and the arrow UP and TO THE RIGHT. And that is is FLAP.
