AEM Series 2 Traction Control

Series 2 Traction Control
I've been messing around with the traction control for a few months with minimal success. When I searched the AEM forums, I found that there was an issue with the series 2 firmware that prevents traction control from working. There was, however, a workaround that could be done using the two step rev limiter as a form of traction control.
Has anyone had any success with this?

The 3 step limit sets rpm limits for vehicle speeds in each gear. To have this work correctly you need an undriven wheel speed. If you try and use the VSS input you will never exceed the 3 step limits unless you have clutch slip. You can tap into one of the front wheel speed inputs and go the route of the OP in the AEM forum you linked to.

Thanks, I will be going this route. I just read up on the AEM forum. There is a problem with the S2 firmware for the "Traction Control" function. I will use the 3 step instead of the traction control function to limit wheel slip. I'm going to grab the ABS wheel speed signal from one of the front wheel speed sensors where it connects to the ABS control unit in the rear left corner of the hatch.
This is on page Z-106 of the FD wiring diagram in case anyone else wants to try. I'm tapping pin 1U. Then I will connect that to the T4 input. I will probably have to recalibrate speed by adjusting "VSS Calibration"
I actually like the 3 step better because it is not "acceleration based"
The AEM guy in the forum sets his tables up using fuel cut first. I'm going to start with ignition retard, then increase the limits on the ign cut, and use fuel cut as the last resort.
