AEM Noisy map signal?

Noisy map signal?
It seems like the AEM does not have any kind of voltage smoothing for the MAP signal and it is a bit difficult to tune. When the car is off the map signal is fairly stable, under idle it moves around a bit but still stays within a cell. However once I start driving the map signal jumps across several cells at a time. When I had my powerfc this was not an issue.
Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way to smooth out the signal? I'm going to run some fresh wire from the map sensor to the computer to see if the problem clears up.

There is an option called MAP filter, you should be able to find it in Setup>>Sensors>>MAP sensor>>options. If you filter the signal too much, the car might not respond very well to quick throttle inputs. I've got it set to 10 in my car's calibration, don't remember when I adjusted it but 10 seems to be working OK from what I can tell.

If you save and send a datalog along with your cal file and setup specifics I will be glad to take a look at it. I personally have never had an issue with the MAP sensor jumping around erratically.
Just out of curiousity, what MAP sensor are you using?
