will it log 2 ? and base fuel trim from both

Yes, the series I EMS will take EGT inputs. I t can log them and it does have Individual cylinder trims. FYI, AEM this week discontinued support and service on Series I ECUs. They also implemented a buy back program to switch to Series II Ecus.

I just looked at the press release. They're doing $100 rebates on the Series 2 unit if you have the Series 1. Its not great, but i suppose its better than nothing.
