Windows 7 was unable to install your ECU
Just as the title says, using Windows 7 on a laptop I picked up for tuning/monitoring purposes and it does not find the driver software for the Adaptronic Select ecu. I follow the instructions on Troubleshooting USB comms on Select ECU and e1280 ECUs XP/Vista/7 driver install with no resolution...I am at a loss currently and was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and came to a solution. Including a screen shot of the prompted error msg.
I have the current version 14 drivers installed on my laptop attempting to use x86 drivers but as I previously described the problem persists. Any help is welcomed!
(I have everything similar on my desktop running windows xp with ZERO problems, just troublesome lunking it around in and out to tune with )
Thanks!!

Hi Happy Meal,
Hmm I think you might have chosen the "x86" folder instead of the "SelectDriver" one. If that doesn't help, can you email me please using tech@adaptronic.com.au (Attn Mark) and I will help you with the installation remotely.
Thanks.

MarkG stands for Mark Gangsta! That is exactly what the issue was. Not really sure why choosing x86 over the SelectDriver folder was the problem but it immediately found the ecu afterwards. Thanks a ton, sir! Sometimes I guess we get ahead of ourselves and commonly overlook the easiest problems.
