From what I understand, the AEM W/M kit has its own controller for the pump. Is this the same with what you have?

Hi Steve,

I'm not sure how much current the AEM pump draws. But if the motor (pump) draws a lot, eg up to 10A, then we will need an external transistor to drive it. The easiest way to do it is with one of our dumb ignitors (as on the picture attached). We will also need a pullup resistor because the outputs only switch to ground. Then you can set the output as PWM + variable with MAP; or you could set it as a PWM 3D map using fuel map 2 and then you can map the duty cycle against RPM and MAP.

If the motor draws less than 3A, then we don't need a transistor, we can just use a PWM output from the Adaptronic.

Thanks.
