I'm just excited to gather accelerometer/gyro information and put things together (with my own datalogging) like this for tuning purposes:

Andy has worked out all the bugs as of yesterday. The first install did a 10.6 a few days ago at the local 1/4 mile, and made 504rwhp on a dynodynamics. Several others are about to hit the dyno too( currently road tuned).

We have our first FD PNP enroute to us.

I wonder what is the biggest difference between Modular series and select PnP series beside more aux input/output and canbus capabilities. Also could you retain OMP/and AC function with this?

BTW I'm waiting on the dyno chart too

We have not tuned our car yet, we are swamped here( booked until next spring!).

Adaptronic has already dyno tuned the S6 Modular FD PNP FYI.

Our test car runs about 34 psi, so I have to take this slow to make sure things work out very well.

I will mention the Modular's faster processor already makes big difference in things like idle control, etc. It already runs much much better even on the same map. I do not know yet if you can just plug in a map from a select an run it on a modular unit, my gut is they should all be retuned.

Sorry for the confusion, I just meant that certain things work a lot better...

I have confirmed that the background VE calcuations are different. So one should start from scratch tuning wise if you have a SELECT model, and are upgrading to a modular.

First thing I noticed is the VE maps look a lot more " correct ". Previously I only saw this on the piston motors.

I definitely plan on doing a a step by step setup/tuning video for the rotary cars. I had planned on this for quite some time, but wanted to hold off for the new ECUs...

LOL

I know a few things;

The 1st RB/300ZX PNP was installed and 100% successfully tuned at one of Adaptronic's Australian dealers.

The drive by wire modules are being worked on, 1st up is the implementation of the the Rx8 DBW throttle body.

I am pretty positive the FD PNP units are being assembled.

Andy just told me we are doing the PRI show again this December with a booth.

I am waiting on a response from an email this morning. I will let you guys know when the units are enroute.

...i'm just wondering...

The Modular seems to be the better choice than the select series for an FD, but they are priced the same...

both are PNP, the modular seems to have some more options plus the better CPU... Is there any reason to pay the same price for a select ECU?

The select models except the E420D are all being phased out.

The Modular is better in every way compared to a Select.

is there a good possibility that the current first generation of the PNP will go on sale given the modular will be priced the same

I don't know anything about that, but I don't think so.

I know next week both a stock TT and EFR 7670 FD base maps are being developed by Adaptronic on the dyno & street( Modular FD PNP).

Any ETA on when the Modular PnP ECU may be in stock?

Will there be a single turbo base map?

And will these be compatible with a hall trigger sensor such as the Full Function Engineering Hall trigger sensor or just the Mag sensor?

Thanks!

A single turbo base map for a BW S362 would be really nice to have straight from the get go

We are working on the ETA at the moment, along with getting ready for the PRI show. We will all be display with Adaptronic at booth # 3305.

First units will be coming with a single turbo base map. I am pretty positive all the FFE trigger kits will work( coding was already done a long time ago for the select models). I will double check.

We will be able to adjust the EFR 7670 base map for an S362 easily.
Usually what we do is just add more fuel from 5 to 7.5k depending upon the porting.

Fuel curve follows the torque curve, so if you have tuned enough( or one could look at enough dyno sheets online) you can see the differences between these turbos( and where they will need more fuel).
