Adaptronic In House Testing
I have been working on a blog post about the difference VE tuning makes over just raw injection on time. It is being wrote in a way that is understandable for everyone. This discussion started on a plane ride with Andy from Adaptronic the last time he was in town. We also had a the pleasure of spending a week with Paul Yaw, the ID team, a few engineers from Bosch, and Shane T, amongst a few other names.
These discussions lead into the differences ECU hardware, specifically injector drivers, might have on injector dead times. I had also asked Adaptronic to get proper lag settings for ALL oem injectors for each PNP ecu model. I wanted to make sure we have base maps that are as good as possible, and constantly revised if needed. So all of this lead to an injector tester being built in house at Adaptronic.
Here is the start of the story, and a read a few of you guys might be interested in.
