Z-max, and other additives

So I was wondering if anyone uses zmax or sea foam or other crap in the rx7s? I'm not planning on using anything but what do you guys think? I've herd z max causes premature beatlring wear in piston engines, I have used sea foam in my 87 chev when I sunk it under a mud puddle about 8 feet deep and the sea foam really did clean it out and she ran smooth after, but in a rotary I'm thinking it probably would eat our seals
