Does anyone know what the part number is for the check valvue or soemthing that connects the vac hose fromt he ypipe to the pressure chamber? do you even need a check valve there?

 

yes you do, that chamber stores pressure, the one under the alternator next to the water pump stores vaccum

between the two, they provide the pressure/vaccum that actuates the solenoids

to hold you over, you can get one from autozone or pep boys, it's the "HELP!" type brand, but definately get a mazda replacement, the HELP! type brand only last about 10k or so miles
