And voltages, on/off of switches plus its configurable so when you get other parts you don't have to replace it. Its certainly my favorite mod so far.

Second the short shifter, no matter what speed or how I'm driving, it improves the whole experience, plus it is a straightforward install and it isn't going to blow a motor if the install is less then perfect (well, at least it would be hard.......). Josh

Who sells that manual rack? Or what swaps out?

ZoomZoom 08-15-04 09:31 PM

Fav mod is Wheel upgrade. Makes the car look 10x better. Always go with 18's. Looks stunning.
Single turbo probably my fav power mod.
When i had twins Fav mod was Power FC

You can use one out of an FC. It cost me about $75 total for the mod.

There is some discussion about steering ratios, but I really didn't think it was that big of a deal. The improvement in feel more than made up for the *slightly* higher ratio (2.7:1 vs 3.4:1 or so)

Must be the adjustment to the pushrod on the brake pedal. Just did it this weekend along with speedbleders and new ATE Super Blue racing brake fluid and for the first time I like the pedal setup on my FD. Previously it was just going down, down, down... before any actual braking took effect. Now it only takes about 1" of movement and I'm full on brakes which still leaves the brake pedal slightly higher or at the same level as throttle pedal. Ideal for much missed heel-toeing.

And my next fav mod will be proper alignment (once I replace the right toe-link) :D

Tom93R1 08-16-04 03:15 AM

I think my best mod was replacing the pillow ball bushings and toe link bushings these last couple weeks. The car rides like it is brand new again! I had no idea how much slack was back there until I was out cruising today for the first time since finishing the toe links.

Downpipe, drastic drop in underhood temps and a noticable differance on the butt dyno. I recall before my hood being too hot to hold for more than 2 seconds after a drive.

The Petitt intake made a differance as well, I love the sounds this car makes now! *SQUEELY SQUEELY** **WHOOSH**

I cannot wait to get my Koyo in and replace my vacuum lines, then I can rest easy.
