Yes, engine removal...again:(
I have installed four engines but have extracted all of them with tranny...was thinking about removing the engine and leaving the tranny installed.
The concern here is that re-install of the engine with a fixed tranny and guiding the pilot bearing.
Can anyone with experience with this porcedure let me know pros-cons...any tips?
Thanks

we did it like that and with 2 of us it took about 3 minutes to get the engine lined up with the transmission. It was an up and down right left kinda deal with the engine hoist until it lined up. One person below watching and one above is a must.
Why so many engines?

Had a new fuel pump...but electricalwould not transition to 12 volts...soat higher revs blew the motor. Took forever to figure that out sinceI had convinced myself that a new supra fuel pump I was getting fuel pressure...but is was ultimately a voltage problem.
