Yellow Wire

There is a yellow wire located right above the clutch pedal in my 93 FD. I was constantly hitting some sort of wire with my foot when shifting and then looked today and noticed that it was a yellow wire, and it was unhooked from whereever it used to be hooked up to, recenly my oil pressure gauge stopped working (stock) and I was wondering if that might be it or if it is something else, if anyone knows please let me know asap.

Have you checked it for voltage?

How do I check and see if it is my fuel gauge? The red light for the oil pressure gauge works but not the bar that moves up and down. anyone have any idea on how to fix my oil pressure gauge?
