Are Yellow 93 Fd's Rare?
I found a yellow 93 fd for sale for 7k w/ a messed up rotor. It isnt really driveable but i heard they are really rare and are all r1's. is this true? what are they usually worth with a new motor?

thats definitely not a cym...
unless of course the interior was swapped and they took off the spoilers...
got rid of the cruise.. took out an oil cooler.. removed the strut bar.. etc....

OK, it's not a "real" CYM. But it looks to be in nice condition (I couldn't see the seat bottoms, where the real wear shows up).
Depending on the mileage, $7k is a decent price. The motor will run about $4k+, so overall it's a good package IF the other parts of the car are well maintained and undamaged.

7,000 is a very fair price with a blown motor.
How many miles does it have? Is it 5spd?
I'd say pass..... If you really want it, offer $3,000. Resale value for a car that has a blown motor and has been demolished and brought back with a salvaged title should be about $3,000 - $3,500....
You can argue that it also a counterfeit CYM...... We all know how much a counterfeit Rolex is worth compared to the real.... You can also point out that along with the above said facts it is also missing suede seats, front lip spoiler, rear spoiler, strut tower brace, premium suspension, dual oil coolers, original paint, etc. etc .etc...... Hell,... By the time you are finished negotiating with the seller he'd be lucky if you gave him $2,500 for the damn thing!
Good luck with your decision....

I'd pass, it isn't worth the money you'll spend on it.
I've got a little experience with these types of things too. It is one thing to get a car that has been damaged and you repair it, it is another to get one that someone has hacked together and try and fix it up the right way.
