wtf god damn transmission

so i was driving down the highway and was hitting low boost then i shift to 5th and the trans got stuck in 5th and i cant shift out of it. i just bought the car a couple weeks ago. i need to know if the synkro gave out on 5th and reverse because the stick is stuck there but still moves around freely. and if it were in neutral. i am pissed i need to fix it soon. please help me out

pulled the stick out and some of the seals on it are gone im thinking that could of caused it because the car stayed in gear. and was drivable. im going to get new seals for the it tomm

I had the opposite problem... The car came out of gear and wouldn't go back into any gear. It was the pilot bearing, then a whole host of other engine related problems.

I have a Perfect tranny for sale in the classifieds. I went through 3 trannys to find this one.

lol well im taking it to the rx7store tomm or thursday. ill ask jason. i guess this is my into to the world of the fd but its fine with me i still love the car.
