WRX STi Injectors for Primary Fuel Rail
hey i have a good customer of mine over here who just picked up an FD RX7 (actually off this forum) anyways, he wants to put 800ish CC injectors in the primary's and i was doing some research and it appears they are high impedence denso style side feed injectors
from the pictures i have seen they appear to look exactly like the 04-06 subaru wrx sti injectors, which so happen to be high impedence 550cc stock as well
so i was curious if any of you guys have put this injector in the car, more specifically the Power Enterprise or Deatchwerks
I saw the ones that RX7store sells and they look about the damn same (or more like the nismo injectors which so happen to drop into the subaru as well).
If this has been tried and did not work, do you guys know of any Precision turbo injectors that will work with the stock rail. I talked to them and they said somthing about a spacer.
Yes i have done a bunch of search to find this answer and couldnt get anything solid other than buying the ones from rx7store for a whopping 140ish each
Thanks
Adam

I can't directly answer your question but I can offer this info.
When looking for a cheap easy solution for extra fuel, many of us have the stock 850cc secondaries bored out to 1200cc or 1300cc by RC Engineering. Using the stock 850cc secondaries in the primary rail requires machining of the primary rail. I have seen pics of the machining on some threads.
I understand that tuning for 850 primaries can be challenging.
