writeup for turbo replacement

have you guys got any links of how to replace twins? im just thinking of doing it myself if its not difficult as the specialist is charging like 4 times more then the turbos are gonna cost me. I have searched through this forum and found one thread related to my question but im looking for something more detailed(with pics maybe)

Not sure if this helps or not, but Rotary Resurrection's website has a good write-up for tearing down an engine from long to shortblock.

http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/3r..._teardown.html

The turbo removal starts down around #38ish.

Be sure to soak the bolts down with penetrating lube a good amount of time (at least overnight) prior to and during turbo removal. They see a ton of heat and tend to seize on there. If this does occur, it can be a complete headache.
