WOW! HKS Service two thumps up!!

I had been missing several screws that screw into the ssqv bov that hold it together. I called HKS and they told me it was a 3mm bolt with a .5 pitch, I went everywhere looking for these bolts and couldnt find them. Lowes, home depot, pep boys, advanced etc. This morning, Amy at HKS called me and asked if I had found them, once i told her no, she said she would find some used screws and send them out via usps today. What great customer service, I have been very disappointed with the after-market industry service, especially Greddy, but in the end you get what you pay for.

Great service from HKS, for sure.

For metric nuts and bolt, try Ace Hardware. They consistently have had the best local supply of metric hardware.

For online, try Maryland Metris or McMaster-Carr

yeah ace has the most to pick from. lowes is decent, home depot is worst.

pep boys is pretty good too for metric stuff, i would go there before checking lowes/home depot.

I had a similar experience with HKS. Some punks (1 of which is now doing time), broke into my car and stole a bunch of stuff, including the read-out from my EVC boost controller. The cops recovered it, but the wires were broken at the soldered connections on the board of the display, and there was no way for me to determine which one of the 4 wires went to which terminal. Someone, I can't remember their name, at HKS, disassembled a unit they had in stock, to fill me in on the correct location of the wires, and I was back in business. I still don't understand why no one there could come up with a schematic, but this one counterguy made me a lifelong fan of HKS.
