Cool Wow....finally got rid of the Mad Bull (3k bucking!)

First of all, I would like to share my condolences for all those involved in today's terrorist attacks! God says to love your enemy....however....he also says that we must protect our body as a temple of God as well. So....that means we should hunt down these ******* and take them OUT !!!! My prayers are with all !! Now....on a side note....I just wanted to let you guys know that I finally got off my *** and installed a Pettit Ground kit that I have been having for 3 yrs.!! 3 yrs. is also how long I have been riding my MAD BULL FD (3k hesitation). It has ALWAYS been present while crusing at 2200-3k RPM's with it intensified as my A/C compressor kicked on. I was just going through my desk and found the Pettit ground kit and decided to go outside and install it. Damn.....took me 5 minutes and 3k hesitation is GONE....it's GONE!! Just sanded down the hole next to my strut tower screwed in one end and screwed the other end onto my negative pole of my batt. and it is ABSOLUTELY GONE. I drove around for about 30 minutes trying to make it buck....turning the a/c off and on and NO BUCKING. Finally after years it's gone ! Anyway, just thought I'd share that with those who have not done this simple and quick mod.

Not to put a potential damper on your happiness, but, did you disconnect the battery when you put the new ground on? A lot of people have found that the hesitation/bucking is a learned behaviour of the ECU, so, the problem goes away for awhile after a disconnect...

Hopefully that's not the case here, though.

He's got a new motor, so yeah, he's been disconnected. I have the Pettit ground wire they sent free when I got their AST (which has yet to be installed). I don't need the wire thanks to my PFC

Well, I know that's not the case as I recently installed a remapped ECU and disconnected it twice in the past month. After disconnecting the ECU the 3k hesitation was present IMMEDIATELY as I drove off for a test drive. This ground strap has WITHOUT A DOUBT solved my 3k hesitation. Hey Mark...WAD UP !!!!
