i was wondering if i need new housings. everything on my motor is in spec and the housings look good other than i have about 1mm of flaking chrome about half way around the bottom radius on both housings. in the pic you can see the ruler is reading about 1mm.
so would you guys use these?
any info would be great.

They are good for another 50K imo. I wouldn't expect a lot more. Depends how tight your budget is.

 

cool thanks for the info guys. i sent the same pic. to racing beat and they said they would not use them but my rebuild video says it ok to use as well as you guys, so i think ill use them.
i understand racing beat telling me they would not use them cuz im sure they want to uphold their rep.
