Imho a fixed chassis will NEVER feel the same. Of course if you're doing the speed limit then you won't notice. But when you push the car you will notice lol.

Jeff is totally right. The big thing here is his CYM was fixed RIGHT, that's the big difference. You get some rednecks just cutting and welding wherever and you WILL have problems. You use an alignment rack, cut on factory spot welds and re-attach a new panel where those spot welds go, and it can be done right.
Remember, the factory took a bunch of stamped steel panels, lined them up, and spot-welded them together. This isn't rocket science, it's not EASY, but what the factory did can be duplicated by a quality shop.
