Worst day so far. Clutch went out

clutch went out when i started going from a light as soon as i hit 2end gear, managed to drive until next stop light in 2end... had to stop clutch was not responding at all....

i got out ... there it was trail of oil down the street
looked under ....... puddle of oil.... mad my day

i heard a (pop!!!) when i was shifting from 1st to 2end

was so mad...i didn't wanna call tow truck didn't care what i **** up next i was going to drive it home........... old school trick.....dropped it in 2end had couple people push the car while i was cranking it to help motor turn easier...got it running shifted it to 3rd took it home....amazingly there where green lights all the way back...

clutch seemed to be ok because it didn't have problem transferring power to wheels
so i think i got blown line some where or master cylinder ...any one had this happen to them

looking for some fix solutions and making sure that i am on right track before i get on it >>>
not allot of xp wit rx7's first one.... still learning

i read that they do have problem with bad clutch lines and cylinders

where could i get some replacement parts that r better then OEM ???

Any Helpful Input Would Be Appreciated

Hmm, I'm going to guess here - your clutch fork broke completely, then the clutch slave piston shot out and all of the clutch fluid drained out into the bellhousing. That would be a mess.

In any case, you need a new clutch fork and a new slave cylinder (or rebuild it, not hard) and bleed it. The fun part is you have to drop the tranny to change the fork.

Other than the pressure plate and clutch itself, I'd just go OEM. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda in Virginia. He is cheaper than other dealers and ships fast.

If your worst day so far is a broken clutch, then you're doing alright.
