Looks awesome! It kind of makes me wish I had more money to spend on the car... I would have loved to go with a mild streetport and Power FC. I'm going to stay stock for a while and keep it reliable (and cheap), until I graduate in 3 years and start making some real money

On a side note, I just love how this forum decides to stop working every few minutes. I'll try to post this again...

If any of you are wondering..turbojeff took the latest pics. He's installing my engine for me...I'm not doing shiat except oogling at all of his handiwork.

LOL...thanks for the pics anyways, Jeff..even if they are a little tilted.

I have no idea what Pineapple Racing used to clean the tranny off. Jeff said something about a beadblaster(i.e Pressure Washer) or something to that effect.

I'm gonna get one of these things....that thing was freaking COVERED in black goo...now look at it!

some may beg to differ, but i have found that a spray-on oven cleaner works fanatastic when degreasing an engine or tranny. go to a dollar store and buy a few cans then get after it with a hose with a pistol nozzle or pressure washer after it soaks in a bit...works wonders i say

Yeah I'll disagree. Oven cleaner EATS aluminum, don't try this at home. If you think it works so well, show us some pics of before/after. Make sure you get some quality pics, not fuzzy crappy pics.

Great pics AAX, I saw your car when I was in Eugene a couple weeks ago. Make sure you get some good pics when that engine bay actually has something in it

*raises hand* I'm next in line! Jeff's already got the Fluidyne/Clutch, except I'm going with a reman instead of going with pineapple.

Me, too.

One question....though are cars do get dirty....how does all that dirt and grime affect the car?

Can it cause problems, like overheating? I mean..if you look at the exhaust port side of the engine..it's completly BLACK in the "Before" pics....I mean it was NASTY.

Can this affect the car's temperature or anything else along those lines?
