Won't stay running when warmed up
I've been troubled by a weird problem,
At first I was sure it was the motor. All of a sudden one day it started dying when I would stop or even push in the clutch once it was warmed up. It would start up and run just fine cold and once above 80C on my PFC, it would die. Once dead I could not start it again until it cooled down.
So I tried a few things and ended up putting on another UIM I had, and the problem went away completely... for a few days. Now it is doing the same thing. One factor has changed - the days it ran fine were sunnier and warmer than the days I have problems. 40-50F compared to 30-40F, not a big difference but it's the only thing that changed between no problems to dying.
I have contemplated the bad motor issue, but since it went away completely for a a few days with no signs of dying in any driving situation, and then mysteriously reappeared when the weather changed, I'm ruling out internal problems for now.
PFC reading for air and water temp are normal. What else could go wrong??
BTW, all emissions and AWS, DT, etc. are removed but it idles and starts just fine even on the coldest nights. Other mods are in sig, except that I'm now running a RX6 single and Gotham streetport

Does it die when you're coming to a stop at junctions when you dip the clutch? Have a look at the sensor screen on the PFC commander and see if the clutch switch works when you press the clutch. If not this could be it and it's a very cheap and easy fix.

it does, but it also dies in neutral also
I'm wondering if both leading and trailing coils are active in starting or if maybe one is bad and only has problems when warm?

changed out the spark plugs and no change
Is there possibly a sensor that controls fuel or spark when there is a considerable difference between the air temp and water temp?
when warmed up, the air temp on the PFC reads about 2-10C right now - cold weather
and the water temp is, of course, at op temp of 80C
this is a large diference and so when the 2 temps are closer to each other, the car seems to start and run fine, but as the temps move apart, the car has trouble
