wiring in ls2/truck coils and connectors to FD wiring loom
Hi!
Found this old thread by alex rodriguez when searching, but the pics have gone awol, and i PMed him a while ago with no response(not logged on).
I am in the middle of doing this work now, and need some help on this subject, and searching got me nowhere with any pictures or wiring diagrams.
there is a description in some way in the thread, but 1. english isnt my main languge, and 2. me and electrical wires...? WE ARE NOT FRIENDS, PERIOD!
thread in question--> https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...5#post11100185
How do i wire in 4 separate ls2/truck coils into the FD wiring loom? What wires and color codes go where? any pictures and simple easy to read descriptions?

found this description of the ls2/truck coil layout:
If i understand it correctly:
D: Constant 12v , to be connected to the FD wiring loom 12v constant
C: to be connected to the ignition signal cable going through the FD wiring loom and on to the ECU(pfc)
B: to be connected to the ground cable going hrough the FD wiring loom and on to the ECU(pfc)
A: Ground to engine block
on the 12V constant, i guess the hks twin power will hook in with the connectors, so i dont have to touch anything here, right?

You don't need to use the twin power with the LS coils, sell it. Iv just been looking into all this stuff myself and have gone with the AEM coils as they are far better, more mJ at a lower dwell time.
What ecu are you running?

If you haven't purchased the coils yet, a different and better option is to get these coils
