I didnt think that just turning it back on would matter, if you didnt have it hooked up to the cat, its gonna be clogged now, and if its not hooked up to anything, then it wont do anything for you. If you were gonna put a cat back on, and hook it up to that then it would help

It might not be a good idea PUMA. For example the airpump is set up to run at certain rpm's. If you have it running all the time the electrical load on the motor will make your emissions worse at those rpm's than before. You can try it and see what happens. Just get a "pre-test" done so you don't fail and have to go to a test-only station.

anyway, we don't have smog check around here, just wanted to help others, maybe someone could try it.
