Does anyone have the schematics for the instrument cluster plugs??? I have debated about soldering my circuit board on the back of my cluster and just thought if I needed the one of the harness plugs plugged in. The one plug that I don't want to use is plugged in right behind the stock water temp gauge, I believe 4 wires....haven't got the colored wires, but can get them tonight.

I looked at all the sites that provide the Mazda manual, but never found the one for the electrical harness for the instrument cluster. i wanna finish up this project, please help

 

There are 8 wires on the harness (white) 4 on each side:
green/pink
tan
white/black
red/black

blue/black
black
green/yellow
red/yellow

Can anyone help me identify these wires? Or if I even need these wires? I am eliminating my oil press and water temp gauges.

 

I found one plug with eight wires for the instrument cluster and the colors do not match yours. R/G ,,R/B,,,B/L,,,W/B,,G/Y,,GY,,R/Y,,,G/O Sorry

 

do you know what each wire does??? I think some of the wires are the same on each plug because it runs illumination or ground or etc. If I could figure out what each wire does per color code, at least I might be able to cross-reference them
