Question Wireing problem...???

I keep blowing EGI fuses, I've gone through about 3 in the last two days. What does the EGI fuse go to? Is it the computer? Because My Power FC goes out whenever the fuse blows.

A little info on what happened
The fist time it happened was last night. I was launching from a stoplight, I got a little bit of wheel hop and the car just died. I still had all of my electrical indicators... lamps, stereo, etc.. but no computer(Power FC commander was not coming on). Checked my main fuses, noticed that the EGI fuse was blown. I replaced it and drove carefully for about 4 miles and then decided to get on it a little, and it blew again. Replaced it again and drove it home. Today I checked the wiring around my computer and the fuse box that the EGI fuse is in. Everything looked OK, I then drove it carefully most of the day with no problems. I got on it a little but never went above 6k RPM’s, decided to get on it a little bit more and it happened again. So now I’m out of fuses and no idea of what to check. If anyone can help with a wiring diagram or any other info/ideas I would greatly appreciate it

One of the sensor wires is shorting to ground. I remember helping someone with this before, but cannot remember which wire. Take a wire diagram and check all the engine wires to make sure they are hooked up and not going to ground.

Good Luck
Tim

The EGI fuse goes to the alternator, the injectors, ecu, all solenoid valves, and EL unit (instruments, fan, heater control) I believe it was a solenoid connection that was bad on his, but since your computer went down, check for the power wire to the computer grounding.
