wiper motor repair question...

Hey guys,

My rx7 has been in storage and since I have got it back the wiper motor, Is really slow and barely turns.

I figure it's just seized up due to lack of use, so was gonna pull her part and grease her up.Clean the brushes and use a fine file to remove any roughness.

As it's not a power issue if she's turning over slowly.

My question is....

Is there a point or should I just pick up a second had one.?

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Mines always been a bit on the slow side when it rains hard.

But now It's so slow, it's undriveable in any rain conditions,

There have been several threads on this over the years. Nothing really conclusive...no real 'fix' to get them up to modern expectations. Your situation though seems like you could benefit from the advice in the various threads on this...do a search for it and you should find some helpful advice.
