I'm suprised no one has asked which wings make it difficult to see behind the car.

That's because what's behind you no longer matters.

I actually put an r1 rear spoiler on with my body kit an I love it. I actually bought the veilside combat wing and had it at the shop. Last second I called the guy and said I was comming down with a stock wing. I am so glad I don't have that huge monster hanging from the back of my car. By the way...anyone want a veilside combat wing. its the real deal.

front R1 lip is optional with no wing, but if you are going to put any kind of wing on, it HAS to be balanced out by some type of front lip. the wings i like: JDM 99, the TRD MR-2 wing (only seen in pictures on the RX-7, looks similar to JDM wing). the stock 93-95 wing is OK, but for some reason it looks too thick to me, and i don't like the small space between the outside pillars...

i personally think wingless FDs look ugly.

wings depend on the rest of your car. for example, a RB Type I wing looks really nice on an FD without a body kit. but for an FD with a body kit, that wing just wont look right. i personally like the look of GT wings on kitted FDs. the only GT wing i like is the Veilside. it is the smalles/lowest one out there. the other GT wings made by C-West, FEED, Mazdaspeed, and Corvis are just too big.

IMO,
stock FD: RB Type I
kitted FD: Veilside CF GF

just my .02

I have a 93 touring edition with an APR R-spec wing. I think it looks good, and will probably look a lot better once I get my body kit (ordered it before the wing, dumbass doesn't know how 2 use UPS and sent it to someone else with the same last name ) When I get the body kit installed, I'm going to get the aluminum deck part of the wing painted body color.

Hey, KINETIK_FD3S, I think the wing will look great, but I love aluminum wings.

That's my set up 'cept for a 99 Spec front lip.

I just can't bring myself to stick a wing on my car. I'm afraid of coming close to being called "ricey"...IMHO

Depends what ELSE you've done. If you've got a full body kit, and 18" wheels, you'll likley want SOMETHING back there. If you're totally stock, don't hang a giant pedestal airfoil wing on it.

I don't think i'd use an airfoil wing unless the car saw SERIOUS road course time AND it was functional in balancing the car.

The car DOES look great without it. Great designs don't need decoration... i'll leave cake icing for ttrans ams. The only thing that'll ever make it on the back of mine is the feed wing... and at 2k, i wouldn't count on it
