Windshield wiper fluid

Okay I checked the hoses none seemed to be plugged since it can get wiper fluid. When I pull on the lever to shoot the fluid nothing happens does this mean its a wiring problem? I mean do I have to take apart the steering column or look for some other wires?

Here's a link to both factory service manuals --

I don't know why that thread hasn't been stickied or added to the FAQ....

I finally got the manuals I checked the pump and the pump it good it works fine. Thing I notice is when I test the pump with the battery it works hook it back up and try to do the wiper fluid nothing the pump doesn't move. Any ideas stupid mass you have to have wiper fluid working to pass inspection. I don't even want to start with how they don't like how the car sounds .

Perhaps your hoses are clogged. Take them off and blow them out. Also blow out the squirters on the hood.

Pump is on the fluid tank (resivoir) At least it is on the rear washer tank, and Mazda probably uses the same pump for both. You should be able to hear it running when you pull the lever, blown fuses ? ? ? Mybe it's just unhooked.
