Windows don't go up correctly. So annoying! Coolant evaporating in the cabin, etc!

I just just got my fd running but it has a number of stupid problems. Hopefully someone can help me out

My windows are the most annoying right now. They go down fine but once they're almost shut, they fall off their alignment and tilt clockwise just a bit showing a major gap on the left side of the window if you're lookin at it from the inside!

I believe the evaporating of the coolant comes from a leak in my heater core. It happened after trying to install an aftermarket radiator and I tried bypass the AST but it was all bad but even for the 5 minutes it was on, I believe it's now leaking. Would this make my heater not blow so hot?

Also where is the rear wiper switch location? My fd has a rear wiper and no switch..is it suppose to be by the rear defroster and foglights?

My 2nd gear entry feels rough. Never grinds but it's not smooth. Kind of like I can feel the gear. Could this be by the type of gear oil?

Any help is appreciated.

For your windows, I'd probably run through these steps outlined by t-von:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...enance-910274/

No idea on coolant / heater.

The rear wiper is controlled by the stalk that controls your front wipers. Rotate it outer part forward maybe? Nothing sneaky.

As for 2nd gear. Try a shifter rebuild and new tranny fluid (can't hurt). Rebuild how-to from Rocketeer here:

Good Luck.

Need more information on the coolant evaporating to help find out your problem

-Is the carpet damp or moist underneath the dash?
-When you turn you heat on do you smell coolant?
-Are there any visible signs of a leak underneath you car? (use cardboard to help pin point location)

Yup all of those. Sucks I even see drops of coolant on the bottom of the heater core. Has this happened to you? My left side headlight steams some too
