window sticking?

sometimes my windows will grab the rain molding on the inside of the car while im rolling them down. Then i have to roll up, and hold the door panel so i can get them down.

anyone else have this issue? solutions? I thought for a second about oiling them, then came quickly to my senses :P

Mine did it when i first got it, i took the door pannel off and messed with the ruber for a while. Found out that the window was off the track a little bit and had to push the window and move the ruber back in place.

it could be that the 2 bolts that secure the window to the thing that goes up/down are loose. take the door panel off and lower the window halfway until you see the part that holds the window. see if those bolts are loose.

ill check the tracks tomorrow, but i dont think this is the problem, the problem is that the window sometimes tries to pull the rubber down with it, not that the window is having any problems going down or up itself. but who knows, i have been wrong before

thanks for the ideas,

Mike

I removed the window guide while replacing the lock mechanism in the drivers door. Put it all back together properly, but my Window seriously struggled to wind up after that. Nothing was out of place. I just sprayed a bit of silicone spray down there and now it's smooth as.
