Any one know why the The black/red connector from the starter solenoid showing 4.5 volts when you attempt to start? but sometimes (very rare) it shows above 12, like it should alway be.

its like you said, you have a resistance in the ignition circuit. also i would check the starter solenoid...but thats me.

oh and also check your battery cable connectors, they may be corroded and having a bad connection/ground will cause this also.

oh and by igntion circuit i totally meant starter circuit, ignore my ramblings about ignition.

alright tomorrow on a 4th of July IL have some cleaning in the wiring connectors to do. see if anything will change.
