as far as i know Mazda's plant was not too affected by the disaster.

As far as I know 1 GM plant has shut down due to not receiving parts, not sure about mazda

According to reports I read by Googling, there was not Mazda plant affected by this, but Honda had 4 plants affected.

Mazda is in Hiroshima which is not that near to the quake and tsunami. Some of their suppliers were affected I'm sure but that would matter more for new car assembly than anything else.
