I'm keeping my car emisions legal, and didn't really think about it when i bought it, but will the greddy airnix intake filters pass emisions? Just curious, thanks.

Your sig has a streetport listed, and a highflow cat. I am surprised you can pass emisions with those.

 

If you are worried about the visual inspection, my car passed with the Greddy intake. I had a DP and hi-flo cat and was able to pass the "emissions" part of the inspection. I had stock motor and stock cat back though.

 

formerporscheguy, my car passes fine with the port, and the highflow cat works and keeps the smog down perfect. I just got this intake after i got it inspected last, and was just curious if maybe this intake i bought would affect the next outcome.

 

Texas does not have a visual. If the car passes the sniff test then everything is OK. An intake will not have any effect on tailpipe emissions, but other mods such as the streetport certainly will.

My stock motor with downpipe and stock main cat and air pump passes emissions with ease.

 

Marshall...if you give me 40 bucks I can just give you a sticker. No testing needed.
