I believe he's talking about the dashpot that dampens the throttle butterflies when you let off the gas. It has no wiring.

Yep I think your right.

As long as it bolts up it should work fin there’s nothing special about a dashpot.

I want to use it because it is only $10 versus the cheapest one I can find at $60! Thanks for the input all!

Anyone know a good place in OKC to get a tune up etc? I have a ZEX nitrous to put on but want the car tuned perfect etc before we do that. The dealer here even sent us away saying noone was familiar enough to look at the car!!!!! (Bob Moore by the way...)

BTW, the FC has 2 different dashpots - NA and turbo dashpots are different. I believe the NA ones have longer shafts than the turbo versions, and the turbo is probably the most similar to the FD dashpot.

I tried one from a N/A 2nd Gen and it was too large.
