i just in stalled my motor not rebuilt...and i have an idle problem. its surging. sound like its running ok though..maybe a vacum problem? im not sure. any suggestions...and my gas gauge sint working for some odd reason...

 

well it must be bad idle month or something. check your air pump connection. the make sure your plugs and wires and fuel filter are good. then move on to your secondary throttle plate, it is by your throttle body. then try to check your tps. that is all what i have been told to try and fix mine. i am gonna check my secondary throttle plate when i get off of work today.

My street port idled like a lumpy V8 untill I tuned it better and had a bit of time to break-in.
