Wierd Idle problem~~ strange idling....???

Hey guys I have a wierd problem with the idle on my car.... I don't think its normal but when I'm at a complete stop my idle is super good 900 (ported motor) and its stable... however when I move for just a little bit like 5 miles an hour and push the clutch all the way in it starts to idle hunt.... like 700 - 1400. After I stop it does it for about 2 times and goes away...back to normal idle...stable....
So...when I move and the gear are in neutural the idle starts hunting...
and when I am at a complete stop the idle becomes normal.....
Wierd....

What can be the problem??? TPS sensor??? I removed the air pump... and stuff... but has anyone have the same problem as well????

Please help~~~ Its pretty anoying at times~~~...

mine did the same thing, i had my idle set to high. and the ISC was constantly trying to compensate and try to find the correct idle point. trying lowering your idle speed and see if that helps.

What is an ISC??? and how do I lower the idle speed??? from my power FC???
I know the power FC has a function to lower idle speeds but even when I did that it seems the problem still exists.... maybe the ISC???

I would check your TPS just to see if that's the problem - you don't have to loosen it up or anything just stick a probe in there and see if you get a normal reading, at least you'll be able to eliminate that as a problem if it's normal.

Do TPS sensors go bad easily??? if they do how much do they usually cost??
I have a PFC Commander so that reading is pretty accurate right?

Idle tuning

The readings on your commander for TPS voltage should be correct, you should see a smooth transition when depressing then throttle.

To tune an FD correctly you really need a Datalogit, to go with your PFC, and a wide band AF sensor.

You should read Chuck Westbrook’s notes, and also Dale Clark's notes:
http://www.clubrx.org/media/pfc/PowerFC_FAQ.pdf

I had the exact same problem on my FD, I ended up replacing the dash pot, it was dead, adjusting the AAS per Dales notes (really touchy), and I also needed to make the F/C and Idle setting pairs near the same on the DL settings page 1.

With some trial and error I got it to work well, every situation will be different.
