Or you can get a G-Force T5 dogbox for about $2.5k and there's T5 to Mazda bellhousing adapters available from the Rotary Shack and others.

I already talked to the guy sellin the one in the link u posted. The problem is it is rated for NA engines in terms of torque. My car makes way to much power/torque for that setup or I would have jump on it right away as it is exaclty what I want.

On the g-force T5, you still need to get a trans right? that is just the gear set for that price? right?....then you have to have a trans guy rebuilt it with the new gearset, right?.... then buy the adapter.....so it end up a lot more than just 2.5K ;-)

I have a quote for a real nice setup using a jerico dogbox for just over 6K... still a bit outa my range, so im looking at all posible solutions right now.

Stock rear anti-swaybar, tripoint modular adjutable front racing anti-swaybar.

They list it as $2.5k for a complete tranny, there are a few upgrades that'll bump the price up a bit though: http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp

Or theres one for sale in Joliet for $3k: http://www.race-cars.com/boxsales/ot...51814346ss.htm

The adapter's $550 from Rotary Shack: http://www.rotaryshack.com/Products/...sp?intView=100 , or I don't know how much from here: http://www.kennedyeng.com/other.htm

The additional costs would be the the shifter, the mounts and the clutch (probably have to go with a custom one, or switch to a 7.25" or 5.5" clutch and flywheel setup). Almost certainly cheaper than the $6k for the Jerico in the end though. It's probably the cheapest option out there unless a good deal on a used one comes up.

Food for thought.

Thanks. I was just wondering what kind of balance you were working with. Watching your recent videos, I see your car is very stable coming off corners. I guess that's what 335 rears can do, not to mention real race tires!

Keep in mind im talking about racing rubber where you have to account for adheasive grip rather than distortion grip, like a street tire.

Thanks again for the infos !!

What's your alignment setup for your car? BTW, your car looks badass! I saw it in person when it was still a Cali car from the previous owner.

>>I was just wondering what kind of balance you were working with.

I corner balance it to be as close to 50-50 crossweight as i can get.

>>What's your alignment setup for your car?

Around 2.7 to 2.9 negative camber in front, with nuetral toe to slight toe out.
Around 1.5 to 1.7 negative camber in rear, with nuetral toe to slight toe in.

Damian, nice looking setup, are the bigger rears giving you any understeer now?

Would you go 335's all the way around if you could?

Nope, my car still turns in great. The wider rear have just let me be more aggressive after turn in and on exit. Now, balancing the brake bias properly, that is another story all together, and I am still workign on that... it will be one of my main focuses with the cars setup on teh first few events.

>>Would you go 335's all the way around if you could?

Hmm, well in order to balance it again I would have to change other things with the car if it had 335 fronts too :-)

But turn since turn in is not a problem, no need to add more in front atm. :-)

What wheels are those? I don't care for the black with chrome lip but that "gun metal" looks good!

the rest of the car is already pretty 'upgraded' :-)

keep in mind cars like mine are always in a state of improvement, so its always a chase to keep the car as balanced as I can, with the resources I have to work with (time, money, knowledge, et, et).
