Question Wideband Pics in A-pillar Mount

Just as the title says, I'm looking for some pics of anyone that has their wideband mounted in the A pillar. I can't decide between the AEM and the Innovate gauges. I want them to match the factory bezel or at least come close. The AEM says that if comes in gray and the Innovate comes in chrome, but most people say that you don’t notice the difference. I would like to see for myself. I have the Auto Meter boost gauge and AFR gauge (replacing with wideband) that match perfect. Any pics would be helpful, and BELIEVE ME I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING SINCE THIS MORNING!!

Pillow? You mean 'pillar'? Might make your search easier.

Thanks, I guess I should wake-up. Like I said I have been up all day looking for something to help me make my mind up between the two.

I edited the thread title for you...

You should check out the PLX Devices wideband instead....go with the M-250 with gauge option. The gauge looks pretty tasteful to me, and I HATE gaudy.

Here you go, AEM UEGO wideband. It comes with a selection of bezel colors. Forgot which ones but, this is the black one.

Thanks for the reply and this was what I was looking for because seeing them on the net doesn't let you know what they look like in the car. Now, that I have FINALLY seen a set mounted in the PILLAR the internet doesn't do them justice. Have you had any problems out of yours?????

Click the 'defi' link in my sig. I think that the center speaker area is a better mounting point for a wideband----I can actually watch my AFRs out of the corner of my eye while I am WOT. Try that with an A-pillar gauge

No problems but, I only have it on for less than 1000 miles. Installed the O2 sensor in the midpipe, 36" downstream of the manifold, as instructed by the factory.

It actually will read below 11 AFR on the digital display, something that was not clear in the instructions. When I first installed it I found that my engine went very lean (12.6) under 11 lbs boost at 7000+. I doubted the AEM but, then again, now I got it tuned OK to low 11s and the first readings were the likely cause why I lost my engine in the car the first place. Good investement!

I love the way you have your gauges, but that's not what I'm looking for. If I could get away with not having any gauges; I would. I don't really like a lot of gauges in a car and there is no way that I could look at all those gauges while I'm driving. I'm doing good to keep my eye on the boost gauge some times. I also don't want to remove any of my factory interior comforts (the Bose system being one of them). The more gauges you have the more people think that you have something besides a stock car. I want them to find that out after we stop, not before we start.

Still Looking For Innovate Pic

Does anyone have a pic of the Innovate gauge installed in his or her car? I don't care where it's located now. I just want to see one installed with the chrome bezel if possible.

I just got my Innovate gauge also, and will take pics after i install it if u want. Also the new XD-16 version of the gauge comes with everything (all color combinations) so u dont need to choose white face/black face, chrome bezel/black bezel. You get them all and can do whatever you want.

I got the innovate and it looks nice, but now I want to get a boost gauge that matches. My auto meter gage doesn't match because of the bezel, so I'm looking for a boost gauge with a thick silver bezel like the innovate.
