Why is Timing info so Hard to Find?
I have a question...
This maybe be retarded but...
How does/could timing effect A:F readings on a wideband?
misfires/breakup - real rich? would it even show up?
too advanced -
too retarded -
The way my mind works, I can't see how it doesn't effect the reading. Igniting too early of course blows seals, but if it's too late is it possible all the fuel doesn't ignite?
Is there a point where retarding the timing too much is harmful?
TIA, someone enlighten me or give me a good swift kick in the pants.

Might want to dig through the single turbo forum - I know there's been a number of posts on the topic, with some really good ones on timing split.
Many times advanced timing doesn't show on a wideband - that's where EGT's come in handy
.
