Why do people have upgraded ECU and Fuel controller / boost control?

Another newbie question..

OK i know what upgraded ECU's
Boost controllers
and Fuel controllers do.

Looking at MOds people have....

I was wondering.

Why do people use upgraded ECU's with
Fuel controller and boost controller???

Wouldn't it be easier /cheaper to just get a fuel controll
and boost controller with out the ECU upgrade?

wish you could have combined your 3 boost controller related threads to 1..

anyways..not all upgraded ECU control boost or control boost all that well...but you shouldn't need an extra fuel controller if the ECU was upgraded..unless you have added extra injectors..and running AIC's and such..

as for another boost controller...use still may need it...especially if your ECU is just chipped as a upgrade.

for me...the pfc handles most of what i wanted....except it is lousy at controlling boost...rather it SUCKs at controlling boost...so I went manual on that part.

simple as that.

the parts dont always do what you expect them to do...or even what they are advertised as doing.
