Why did engine stall with parking lights and AC on 3?
Sup guys,
Yesterday I was having a bad day. First my ABS light came on and the ABS unit in ingine bay was buzzing. Then, later in the day, ABS problem gone, I'm idling in traffic with parking lights on and AC to the 3 position and my engine just stalls. Can anyone explain what's going on with my car? I read that the ABS thing might be related to a dirty connector and not really worried about that. It's the stalling that's got me pissed.
Thanks,
Ant

I guess I'll try the clutch switch thing. But I think that the clutch switch problem happens when the clutch is depressed, where as my talling occurs with the clutch released and idling.

I'm pretty sure it is the clutch switch "sticking". I had this same problem and that was the culprit. When i would depress the clutch, put it in neutral, coming to a stop (clutch is released), the car would stall or idle would be very low and shaky. I think the switch is bad, this (replacing it) is your best bet

It just happened again at lunch. I was playing with the clutch to try and make it happen, it did. Gonna try to replace it. Thanks, I know this was just in another thread, I just thought that my problem was a little different.
Your car is sick by the way. You happened to have bought one of my favorite wheels.
