Who's using a Fuel cut defencer?

I'm having problems w/ fuel cut and need to look into a fcd. Where should I get one and how much will I spend? Also how does it work and will I be able to install it easily?

David,

missed you today at the dyno rained like hell but we still made a day of it anyway over at Engineered Performance, although their dyno was kinda screwy above 6k rpms.

As far as the PFS PMC, did you turn the vent learn off after getting it set when you first got it? Is the vent learn off now. Peter told me when I had one that once its "learned" you car's boost pattern, you need to turn it off. He tuned my PMC when I was at his shop and when I looked he had turned the vent learn off after he got it set, pretty rock solid on all 3 settings.

I've had my vent learn on this whole time. I'll turn it off this week and see how she does. So were you boosting around 15lbs w/ no problems?

On the med and low settings, the boost settings were pretty solid, even in cold weather. Although just like the PFC, you still might need to lower it a tad since the car tends to make a little more boost than what you had it set on in the cold weather. On the high setting with the PFS PMC, I only used it like 5 times that I remember, but I don't ever remember thinking, damn my boost is going higher than I thought it was set for.

From what Peter said, with it on all the time, every time your cranking up the car, its learning the boost curve for those conditions for that day. That sounds good, but as you can see it hunts alot and never gets really set since you can't always drive WOT in 3rd and 4th gear to then turn the vent learn off.
