Who is selling duel fuel pump set up?

I had seen a posting some where on the club that a person was doing a duel pump set up that he moded your own intank set and added the second pump that you provided or he would provide. I have search and cant seem to find.

Any help would be great.

Not to be an ass but maybe try spelling it right - dual as in two, not dueling pumps ;)

Regardless I think this is what you're after?

Protech is the company.

Up late.Just looked at what I spelled and :rlaugh:. Thanks for the post. I will look this up again. Not sure if I will go this route or with a BNR32 Apex pump.

It always amazes me the mistakes that I catch the next day with fresh RESTED eyes !!:icon_tup:

I vote a surge tank with a bosch 044. I believe the Bosch has equal or greater flow @ 2/3's the cost.

I made a cost-effective dual pump setup for a few of my customers in which I added a pump along side the existing one and upgraded the wiring.

CJmotorsports makes one as well. www.cj-motorsports.com

What is sealing the wires as they go thru the flange?

Do we still have to send in our stock hangers? or can i purchase a modified hanger from you?? I haven't had time to take mine out or find a spare hanger.

IRPerformance 12-29-07 12:45 AM

The gentleman I did the last one for sent me his carrier. I might have an extra somewhere.

Whatever you want to. I believe that unit doesn't come drilled. I've seen things from bulkhead connectors filled with epoxy to a drilled hole with sealant spooged in there. Personally I would use a marine bulkhead wire seal - West Marine part # 191678

I thought if you ran two pumps you could eliminate fuel cut, so you would not need a noisey swirl pot?

TitaniumTT 12-29-07 01:29 PM

How would adding a second pump prevent fuel from sloshing away from one, let alone 2? If anything I would think that you'd be draining the sump quicker.

Do you know if this is made of a fuel safe plastic? I can think of a couple uses for those if so. Thanks.

If you keep the tank above 1/2 while road racing you'll be fine. You can also install the baffle one of the forum members designed (I forgot the source). The purpose of this was a cost-effective and simple way to support more hp.

FC tank is worse than the FD tank and I don't think that cover will work on my FC tank. Regadless though I'll just be running a stock intank pump to an external surge tank to solve the sloshing problem becuase it's happend to me on the street  And we all know that we get better gas mileage when we pull every last drop of fuel out :D
