who to replace engine?

It's time for a new engine but there aren't any rotary shops in my town, I was wondering what kinda of experiences ya'll have had with dealer installed engines and if it would just be better to trailer it to Dallas (300mi). Thanks.

Dealerships are only as good as their mechanics. If the dealership rarely sees any RX-7's, chances are they aren't going to have mechanics around who know what to do.

Anyway, I had a dealer install a reman and new turbos about 5 years ago. No problems.

Since you are in Texas, there are several very good rotary specific shops in the area you should talk to. If I were in Texas and needed something done, I'd make darrn sure my car went to Rotary Performance: http://www.rx-7.com/

There is also: http://www.gothamracing.com/ who are very good.
