There's someone here who got a custom made 4" exhaust, I can't remember who, but I think he had a few pics and it looked great.

Nah, Ramy is looking for something that is more or less, "mass produced", not one-off from what I could tell from his first post. I'm still waiting for a few responses back, will post as soon as I hear though.

3" - 3.5" at the most. You can tell from the pics...

I want to say Ernie T.
I'll have to ask Ernie. I checked w/ Trust (in Japan); they largest they have is a Titanium w/ a 90mm (3.5") pipe and a 115mm (4.5") tip.

FEED's Sonic Ti-R is now discontinued as well, and it was 95mm piping and tip (3.75").

Hmm...I'll have to check with them on that (if they still have any laying around etc). They do still carry a 90mm (3.5") piping to 115mm (4.5") tip exhaust...2 - 3 of them to be exact.

Other than those, the rest of the 4'' piped exhausts have to be custom made. I will make some moves and see if i can find anything for you though!
I'd appreciate it big man

But ya, as Rich said Ramy, check with Sean from A-spec for the 5 incher (his user name is Zero R).
Yea I've seen it in person when I dropped by Sean and he showed me his beast Looked *wicked*!

Reading is your friend...

Oh and yes, I'm familiar w/ it; it's GoodFellaFD3S's - who's a good friend of mine btw

And the search continues...

Thanks,

Sometimes when looking for something it is right under your nose all along.

Maybe my Japanese is not the best but.....

[メイン94φ テール101.65φ 競技専用 スチール製]

94mm Piping 101.65mm tip?or is that the decibels.........

Dolphin Tail Amemiya.

But it is not straight pipe and from the picture the piping doesn't look that huge.

Anyone have any long term experience with titanium exhausts? I'm under the current impression that they rot /very/ quickly.

You're correct, that's mm. The main pipe is 94mm (3.7") and the tip is 101.65mm (4" exactly). A lil larger than the rest... my only prob is it looks like crap lol (I hate muffler style exhausts). I wonder if they'd make me a custom canister style...

I wouldn't make a DP outta titanium, but a MP or catback should be fine...

And you didn't buy it, DOH! Just don't tell me they had a Greddy Ti Exhaust for 300$ or I might jump out my office window.

I've got an JIC Titanium catback already so I've got no need for that other than selling it for profit. There were no Greddy Ti's there though.

rx7.com sells a "race only" exhaust from greddy that they claim is 3.75" inside diameter. I know that this is the exhuast that ErnieT is running for whoever mentioned it. Here is the link it is in the middle of the page.

yeah? you guys musta got there really early! hahaha i ended up snatching it up on a whim that day. i didnt plan on buying anything big so i took the rx7 there...but somehow i managed to pack the exhaust in the car 0_o
the piping definitely seemed bigger than 80mm to me, but i havent checked yet - now im curious...i'll have to find some time to move the cars out of the garage so i can pull it out and measure.

I remeberi reading that FEED offered a 4 inch titanium exhuast with a mid section to go along with it. Probably comes with the feeling that you got punched in the gut when you read the price...

Wasn't Sean trying to fit a little bit LARGER than 4" in there? Like 5"+?

Also, I dunno how close, but what was the size of the Greddy PE? I know it's pretty big, but didn't know exacts. I still have mine, but don't have anything to measure it ATM.

I have the Greddy RP racing exhaust that Ari gets, then modifies it. I already have a 4' dp and the rest is a hair under 4". Its an awesome set up, with a great sound too

oh yeah, for anyone curious, i measured out the tr exhaust with the dial calipers.
the midpipe inlet is 80mm diameter, and then enlarged almost immediately to 95mm inner diameter, 100mm before it passes the resonator, and then that sizing remains throughout the midpipe and through to the exhaust. i forgot to measure the exhaust tip size though.

geez. i dont need such a huge exhaust lol.
guess its gonna stay garage furniture for awhile until i figure out what i want to do with it. it is nicely constructed though hahahah.

So it is 4 inches then. I'd actually like to see pics of this thing. Carol, do you think you can take some and post them up ?
