You need to check the "smell" of the smoke. It could really be a light blue'ish color (which can look white to some people), in that case probably just means your turbos are heading south and burning oil..

If the smoke has a coolant smell, then you know what that means.

Are you letting the car properly warm down before turning it off?

resealed your turbos?
isntead of idling there for 5 mins, use those same mins to drive around the block, or knowing u will come to a stop soon dont beat on it, and just drive it easy those last few minutes, its a LOT better then just sitting there diling. that smoke could be your oil seals too if its blue, not alays the turbos. take a rag and hold it about 5 inches away from the exhasut for a few seconds then smell the rag what does it smell like? sweet, oil, fuel?
sweet: your coolant seals are dying
oil: check for oil in you intake piping
fuel: thats normal

Man why dont you smell your exhaust? If its sweet your burning coolant plain simple, your turbos are toast probably because i havent ever heard someone resealing there turbos, in most cases theres alot more that happens to the turbos then just the seal going, once the seals have gone the turbos are in pretty shitty condition, what are you worried about anyway just put a sale sign on it and let the other dude who will buy it worry about it.

Do a search for "smoke" ... this has been posted before many times. I had the same symptoms after getting my turbos rebuilt. Does the car smoke immediately on startup? Is it a lot of smoke ... like forms a cloud around your car? Chances are, your turbos are **** up. In my case, the carbon seal on the primary driveshaft has become unseated, and oil was blowing by into the compressor housing. Your problem sounds a lot like the one I dealt with.
