White smoke Majority coming from Passenger Headlight Area

Well i was driving home tonight froma friends house and at a stop light i noticed white smoke coming from out of the pass head light area...(I have my stock headlights out with the eastbear headlights in without the covers on). Well my temp gauge was fine i drove to the next block and hit another red light. Once again white smoke this time pourin out of the whole hood area... Temp gauge still fine( i know i know i should have stopped)... Drove to next block and nothing, no smoke at all, got out of the car under a street light and could not see any smoke or antifreeze. At no point was there any coming out of the exhaust... But when it was coming out from the hood area there was a distinct coolant smell... any ideas. I know its not my engine, but what could be leaking. The car is a 93 auto...

Question Oil Leak

When mine did this it was an oil leak from the turbo dripping on something hot. Check the bottom of the turbos. Removing the lower cover exposes an oil line to the turbo which may be the source.........

Do you ahve an R model? If so Could it be your oil cooler?

Everytime I drive right after washing my car, get steam coming from my driver side headlight (I have a touring). Freaked me out at first, but then I figured out it was jsut the water from washing my car. The water was settling somewhere and heat from the oil cooler was turning it into steam.

At least I think thats what is happeneing since I'm not loosing any fluids, and it only happens after I wash my car.

It could be that the coolant fitting into your turbos was leaking coolant onto the outside of your hot turbos.
